Hand Turkey

The idea was to get Athene's hand print and maybe make some hand turkeys.  It's hard to get a baby to open her little hands on command.  Feet are easier.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Walk

We took a walk yesterday.  At least she slept for 30 minutes.

"24 Days"

If Baby decides to arrive when the doctor estimates she should, we only have 24 days left to prepare.  So far we have ripped down the wallpaper and painted the living room, renovated the bathroom (thanks to my folks for their tremendous help), tore out the carpet and wallpaper in our bedroom to paint and added a ceiling fan (again, thanks to Dad).  Maybe that doesn't seem like much to some people, but I am really tired of working on the house at this point.  We're now, finally, to the nursery.  It is just about ready for its paint job.  Tzam needs to work on painting the ceiling and I can help with the walls.  Maybe we can be done painting by the end of this weekend.

However, Baby could join us at any moment she chooses now so it's completely up to her whether her walls get painted before she gets here or not.

Dreams

Last night I had a dream that the hook to lock the bathroom door did not exist and that a group of little boys wouldn't let me go potty.  They just kept opening the door after they'd agreed that they wouldn't.  Eventually I was inundated with several children, male and female, who would not let me go.  I tried to throttle one little blond girl, then apologized and gave up the need to use the restroom.

New Blog

The old blog is currently lost and may or may not be recovered. Tom is working on it. We hadn't posted a lot recently anyway but having lost it, I thought maybe it would be good to start a replacement. I hope we get the content back. That was several years of art progress and silly stories. If not, we'll have to manage.

By way of introduction, Tzam Blakablak is a Superartist and I am his wife. Together we are the Superartists. Our website, where you can see Tzam's art, is superartists.net. We are expecting our first child in October this year and will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary on Halloween.
